OSHA 30-Hour General Industry

The OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Course provides more in-depth training to help employees recognize, evaluate, and address workplace hazards so they can apply safe practices in their daily tasks.


This training is intended for supervisors, managers, and employees working in higher-risk environments. It provides the knowledge needed to better oversee workplace safety, support informed decision-making, and reinforce accountability throughout the organization. Upon successful completion, participants receive an OSHA 30-Hour card issued through the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) OSHA Outreach Training Program.


Required topics include:

➢ Emergency procedures

➢ Fall prevention

➢ Basic electrical safety


Additional topics may include:

➢ Hazard Communication

➢ Lockout/Tagout

➢ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

➢ Machine Guarding

➢ Other common workplace hazards
